Abstract

In Internet of Things (IoT) systems, various sensors are used to measure real-world phenomena and analyze the measured data to provide valuable services. In this paper, we develop educational materials for students to understand the principles and mechanisms of sensors, which are the basis of IoT systems, using sensors to measure and analyze familiar physical phenomena. Students experience how simple physical phenomena can be automatically measured using sensors and tablets. As a result, students learn to use sensors and applications that measure sensor data.
