The results indicate that the use of learning strategies to deliver the materials of disaster guide book in Klaten Regency had various levels of effectiveness. The use of several active learning strategies always shows better results than the conventional learning/lecture. Abstract

Disaster is a natural thing in Indonesia. High vulnerability to it must be balanced with extensive knowledge of disaster, particularly, that of students.
