Thematic approach was employed for analysing the data collected. Findings revealed use of resource by the lecturers as perceived by the principal officers of the selected universities. Also, findings indicate nexus between health, library, classroom and lecturers’ effectiveness. Abstract

This study examined the impact of resource utilization on lecturers’ effectiveness in universities in Kwara State, Nigeria. Three research questions were raised to guide the study. The research design adopted for the study was qualitative type. Population consists of all principal officers in private universities. Purposive and convenience sampling techniques were used to select two principal officers from two universities.
