Chinese Journal of Population Resources and Environment

The Chinese Journal of Population, Resources and Environment (CJPRE) is a peer-reviewed international academic journal that publishes original research in the fields of economic, population, resource, and environment studies as they relate to sustainable development. The journal aims to address and evaluate theoretical frameworks, capability building initiatives, strategic goals, ethical values, empirical research, methodologies, and techniques in the field. CJPRE began publication in 1992 and is sponsored by the Chinese Society for Sustainable Development (CSSD), the Research Center for Sustainable Development of Shandong Province, the Administrative Center for China's Agenda 21 (ACCA21), and Shandong Normal University. The Chinese title of the journal was inscribed by the former Chinese leader, Mr. Deng Xiaoping. Initially focused on China's advances in sustainable development, CJPRE now also highlights global developments from both developed and developing countries.

Chinese Journal of Population Resources and Environment（CJPRE）是一份同行评审的国际学术期刊，主要刊登经济、人口、资源和环境研究领域与可持续发展相关的原创性研究成果。该期刊旨在探讨和评估该领域的理论框架、能力建设计划、战略目标、伦理价值、实证研究、方法和技术。CJPRE自1992年开始出版，由中国可持续发展研究会（CSSD）、山东省可持续发展研究中心、中国21世纪议程管理中心（ACCA21）和山东师范大学主办。中文刊名由中国前领导人邓小平先生题写。该杂志最初关注中国在可持续发展方面的进步，现在也重点关注发达国家和发展中国家的全球发展。
