Crossreactions were seen between the genera <em>Serratia</em> and <em>Aeromonas</em>. A special reaction of the antilipase sera of <em>Aeromonas hydrophila</em> and <em>Aeromonas punctata</em> could be demonstrated on the lipase of one strain of <em>Serratia marcescens</em>.
