Exploring Industrial Evolution with Correlation Analysis and Smoothing Forecasting: A Case of Marine Industry in Guangdong Province of South China

Marine industry occupies a tremendous position in the economy of south China's Guangdong province. While effectively promoting its sustainable development of marine enterprises, Guangdong province still needs to comprehend its dynamic process and exploration of continuous optimization pathways of marine industry systems, for making corresponding structural adjustments. To achieve this goal, this paper establishes a model to systematically analyze the correlation between the evolution of its marine industry and the factors that affect the evolution of the industry from the time series dimension.Upon this, we further predict the future direction of its evolution. The experimental results show that the proposed method permits a certain scientific validation, which demonstrates comprehensive relationships between marine enterprises in Guangdong province. Moreover, evolution analysis is provided for the coordination relationships between factors within the enterprises. Both inter-enterprise and intra-enterprise analysis would provide insights for the structural adjustments and the development of marine industry in Guangdong province.
