The sample size was 200 students (male and female) fromall secondary schools in Baghdad al-Rusafa who lived with their parents, and another 200 adolescentwho lived in an orphanage. The data was collected during January 11th to March 2nd, 2021. Short formof (coopersmith,1967) scales for assessing self- esteem level.Results : The result of the study shows that highly significant differences are accounted between studiedgroups at P<0.01 regarding of studied “Negative’s Items Domain”, and “ Overall Evaluation”, while nosignificant different was accounted with reference to “Positive’s Items Domain”. 摘要

目的:了解孤儿院儿童与与父母同住儿童在自尊水平上的差异。方法:采用比较设计的描述性研究。在巴格达的鲁萨法,采用了目的性抽样的方法。样本大小是来自巴格达al-Rusafa中学的200名与父母同住的学生(男男女女),以及另外200名生活在孤儿院的青少年。数据收集于2021年1月11日至3月2日。(coopersmith,1967)评价自尊水平的量表。结果:研究结果显示,研究组间“消极项域”和“综合评价”有极显著差异(P<0.01),而“积极项域”无显著差异。通过显著性比较的结果可以看出,当正性倾向项的结果在两组之间没有形成显著性差异时,负性倾向项的趋势是两组之间的区别证据。
