Observations were concentrated on the barnacles <em>Chamaesipho brunnea, Chamaesipho columna</em> and <em>Epopella plicata</em> and the bivalves <em>Xenostrobus pulex</em> and <em>Perna canaliculus</em>. The field studies extended for a period of 140 days after treatment.
