As regards the results obtained by the company, while the codification of knowledge and its dissemination are part of the usual practice in universities and research institutes (although there may be restrictions on knowledge deriving from contract work or in the context of a collaboration), in the commercial sphere the results will be protected by secrecy or other means of intellectual property protection.
