Penelitian ini mengkaji semua laboratorium fisika SMA/MA se-Kota Salatiga dengan empat indikator, yaitu ketersediaan alat praktikum, desain ruang laboratorium, administrasi laboratorium, pengelolaan penyelenggaraan praktikum, dan pelaksanaan keterampilan proses. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil pengukuran menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan tiap indikator dijelaskan sebagai berikut: (1) ketersediaan alat-alat praktikum fisika tergolong memadai dengan memperoleh nilai sebesar 66% (2) desain laboratorium fisika memiliki berbeda-beda variasi bentuk, dari model tradisional maupun non-tradisional. (3) administrasi laboratorium fisika cenderung cukup lengkap dan tertib dengan memperoleh nilai sebesar 50%. (4) menurut persepsi guru pengelolaan penyelenggaraan laboratorium fisika cenderung digunakan dengan wajar, memperoleh nilai sebesar 67%, namun persepsi dari siswa hanya sebesar 39%. (5) menurut guru merasa mampu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses nilai sebesar 79%. Laboratory as a source of learning physics is required to provide a real experience to students. This study reviews all of the physics laboratory SMA / MA as the city of Salatiga with four indicators, namely the availability of practical tools, design of laboratory space, laboratory administration, management of practical implementation, and the implementation of process skills. Techniques used in data collection are observation, questionnaire, documentation, and interviews. The results of measurements using triangulation techniques and analyzed using qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the research of each indicator is described as follows: (1) the availability of tools belonging to the physics lab sufficient to obtain a value of 66% (2) design physics laboratories have different variety of shapes, from traditional and non-traditional. (3) The administration of the laboratory of physics tend to be fairly complete and orderly by obtaining a value of 50%. (4) management of the provision according to teachers' perceptions physics laboratory tends to be used with a reasonable, obtaining a value of 67%, but the perception of the students only by 39%.
