This ill-fated poet achieved a promising position in the Spanish literary scene of the early 17th century thanks to the support of Juan de Arguijo and Lope de Vega and his participation in literary jousts. The preserved testimonies of his relationship with Arguijo and Lope are the primary sources for the reconstruction of the failed editorial process of his only work.resumen:Diego Félix de Quijada y Riquelme es un desconocido poeta sevillano de los Siglos de Oro, autor de un cancionero amoroso titulado Soliadas.
