The aim of this study was to examine the concentration of \n12 chemical elements (i.e. Cd, Cr, Cu, \nFe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn, As, Se and Al) in different types of potato chips. Samples \nwere analyzed using an Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer \n(ICP-OES). The average concentrations of analyzed elements in all potato chips were \nexamined and compared with the recommendations of international organizations concerned \nwith food safety. Measurement of Different Types of Potato Chips by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer
Potato chips are considered as one of the most popular and preferable children’s
foods in Saudi Arabia. The aim of this study was to examine the concentration of
12 chemical elements (i.e. Cd, Cr, Cu,
Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn, As, Se and Al) in different types of potato chips. Samples
