In the experimental results, coexisting <em>EGFR</em> and <em>KRAS</em> mutations were found in 1% (2/180) of the samples. This shows that these mutations tend not to coexist. Furthermore, nearly no coexistence was found between <em>KRAS</em> mutations and <em>EGFR</em> overexpression.
