Metal corrosion, including corrosive destruction of metal structures: pipelines, tanks, reactors and so on, can cause their functionality decrease, as well as emergency situations with spills of aggressive and biologically hazardous liquids and gases, which will lead to a local increase in environmental pollution. A promising method to protect structural steel from acid corrosion is the use of corrosion inhibitors. The paper considers the impact of corrosion effects on environmental pollution. A corrosion inhibitor based on fatty acids obtained from rapeseed and sunflower oils and monoethanolamine, diethanolamine was obtained.
