The method of this research was quasi-experiment. The population of this research was eighth-grade students of MTsN Kota Solok. The total population was 65 students. The research results show that the pre-test means score in experimental and control classes was 46,8 and 44,4. The mean score of post-test in the experimental class was 55 and control class 51,6. Students’ ability in writing descriptive text analyzed by using t-test statistical which t calculated= 2,04 and t table (0,975: 38) = 2,02 with significant level t calculated > t table. 摘要

本研究旨在探讨基于探究的学习策略对学生撰写描述性文本能力的影响。本研究采用准实验方法。本研究的研究对象为MTsN Kota Solok的八年级学生。总人数为65名学生。研究结果表明,实验班和控制班的前测平均分分别为46,8分和44,4分。实验班学生后测平均分为55分,对照组学生后测平均分为51.6分。学生描述性文本写作能力分析采用t检验统计t计算= 2,04,t表(0,975:38)= 2,02,显著水平t计算> t表。总之,使用基于探究的学习策略的学生比那些没有基于探究的学习的学生在写描述性文本方面有更好的结果。关键词:描述性文本,研究性学习,写作
