This study employed a qualitative methodology. Senior high school students who have taken the UTBK test were the subjects of this study. This research was conducted in SMAS Pangeran Antasari Medan, in class XII IPA, there are 32 students in it. According to the study's findings, high school students' lack of interest in reading made them bored when reading the text in front of them. It was also difficult for them to decipher the meaning of the text because they lacked the necessary vocabulary and didn't practice answering questions about reading comprehension. As a result, they believed that the UTBK test was too difficult for them. So this research, senior high school students must increase their practice of reading comprehension questions both at home and in class, as well as their interest in reading and vocabulary, to overcome these challenges. 摘要
本研究的目的是确定高三学生在回答UTBK考试中阅读理解问题时遇到的挑战。本研究采用定性方法。本研究以参加过UTBK测试的高中生为研究对象。本研究在SMAS Pangeran Antasari Medan进行,在IPA 12班,有32名学生。根据这项研究的发现,高中生对阅读缺乏兴趣使他们在阅读面前的文章时感到无聊。对他们来说,理解文章的意思也很困难,因为他们缺乏必要的词汇,也没有练习回答阅读理解方面的问题。因此,他们认为UTBK测试对他们来说太难了。因此,在本研究中,高中生必须在家庭和课堂上增加对阅读理解问题的练习,提高对阅读和词汇的兴趣,以克服这些挑战。这将使他们更容易解决阅读理解部分的问题。关键词:阅读理解;UTBK
