Methods: 4 common seafood products ( Metapenaeus ensis , Mantis shrimp , Ruditapes philippinarum , and Monetaria moneta (Linnaeus)) were selected from Pujun Market in Foshan city. The amounts of heavy metals lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), and total arsenic (As) were determined by ICP-MS method. The test results were evaluated according to the national standard “National Standard for Food Safety-Limits of Contaminant in Food” (GB2762-2022). Results: The heavy metal content of 4 seafood samples met the limit of national standard GB2762-2022.
