Firstly, a spoon shaped slot structure cavity-backed by a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity is proposed to realize the CP performance. Next, a half mode SIW (HMSIW) cavity-backed semi-circle slot antenna is proposed to further reduce the size of the antenna element.
