Its structure and function are explained, as well as the support received by the General Directorate of Libraries and Digital Services. The backgroundof BMD, created in 1998, is presented. In addition, the development and scope of remoteaccess is explained. In 2021, it becomes the main source of information for the FacMed community. It is made up of 5 sections: electronic resources; electronic book platforms; dictionaries, encyclopedias and reference works; bibliography, catalog and electronic books; electronic journals. Since 2020, the bibliography of all the undergraduate study plans in this entity has been updated and reviewed, thus making it possible for it to be used by the undergraduate community in an unprecedented number during the COVID-19 pandemic.
