This study aimed to evaluate the association of sleep quality with dietary habits, nutritional status and body mass index (BMI) in adults. \nMaterials and Methods: This study was conducted on 576 healthy individuals, 293 males and 283 females, aged between 18-65 years. The study did not include individuals with chronic diseases, pregnant and lactating women. The participants' descriptive information, dietary habits, and some anthropometric measurements were questioned. Additionally, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was applied to the participants and 24-hour dietary recalls were recorded. \nResults: In both male and total participants, the rate of good sleep quality of those with a BMI between 18.50-24.99 kg/m2 was lower than those with a BMI ≥25 kg/m2. The number of cigarette smoked in a day and the total PSQI score of the male and total participants were positively correlated. Additionally, there was a positive correlation between the percentage of saturated fatty acids in the diet and the total PSQI scores in female and total participants, while a negative relationship was found between dietary niacin (mg) and copper (mg) intakes and total PSQI scores in female. \nConclusion: The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between sleep quality and nutritional status, and BMI.
