Community Assistance and Perceived Community Cohesion in the Mix-Income Community: The Moderating Role of Social Comparison
With the acceleration of China urbanization process, a large number of people have flocked from rural area to urban area. How to make this group better fit into the society is a very important issue, and community is the most basic foothold place for them. This study uses random interview data from low-income residents in the mix-income community to study the psychological social integration problem of low-income people, and discusses the impact of factors such as community assistance, perceived community cohesion, and social comparison on the social integration of low-income groups. We handed out a total of 450 questionnaires, 441 questionnaires were recovered, of which 428 valid questionnaires. A multivariate regression method was used to systematically analyze the influence mechanism of community assistance on perceived community cohesion, while social comparison was also included in the study model to examine its moderating effects between community assistance and perceived community cohesion.
