The aim of this study is implementation of a low-cost intelligent controller system for Smart Homes by using fuzzy logic calculations as an application of home automation and MV network demand management. The controller gets energy meter measurements, temperature, humidity and luminosity values as an input and calculates outputs for managing electrical network of related house. It also calculates the electrical bill and tries to manage electrical equipment inside home for saving the electrical bill. The proposed controller first created and tested in MATLAB environment and then implemented in Arduino microcontroller.
