Desain penelitian adalah observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan total sampling 50 ibu hamil Suku Dayak Kenyah. Data dikumpulkan oleh petugas lapangan yang terlatih meliputi pola makan, karakteristik keluarga dan asupan zat gizi ibu menyusui. Analisis bivariat digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pola makan, karakteristik keluarga dengan asupan zat gizi ibu Abstract High intake of nutrients is important for nursing mothers in meeting the nutritional needs of mothers and their babies. The fulfillment of high nutrients for nursing mothers is influenced by several factors including maternal characteristics, family characteristics, economy, diet and frequency of eating. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between diet and family characteristics with the nutritional intake of breastfeeding mothers in chewy dayak tribes. The design of the study is observational with a cross sectional approach with a total sampling of 50 pregnant women of the kenyan dayak tribe. Data collected by trained field officers covers diet, family characteristics and nutritional intake of nursing mothers. Bivariate analysis is used to analyze the relationship between diet, family characteristics and nutritional intake of nursing mothers. The results showed that the mother's diet, eating frequency, age, education and work were significantly related to the mother's nutritional intake, especially vitamins B6 (P=0.004) and B12 (P=0.023), energy (P=0.025), riboflavin (P=0.025), protein (P=0.02), vitamin B6 (P=0.027). Furthermore, education and work are significantly related to the nutritional intake of breastfeeding mothers, especially energy (P = 0.008), protein (P = 0.03), vitamin B6 (P = 0,000), zinc (P = 0.02) and vitamin C (P = 0.02), vitamin B6 (P = 0,000), zinc (P = 0.001) and vitamin A (P = 0.012). It was concluded that the nutritional intake of mothers breastfeeding the kenyah dayak tribe in Kutai Regency is related to diet, eating frequency, age, education and maternal work as well as the education and work of the father.
