The elastic properties of the joint components - gasket, pressure flanges, rings and fixing bolts were determined experimentally.\n\nDesign/methodology/approach: The criterion of joint tightness was formulated. The constructed model was used to determine the analytical dependence of the joint leakage pressure on the assembly torque of bolts tightening.
