Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is used to send data from the sensors, 32x32x25mm in size, designed to consume small amount of energy-less than $\\pmb{100\\mu\\text{A}}$ at 2.1V making the sensors sustain for longer than 12 months with power from a 2477 coin cell battery, to the gateway connected to Wi-Fi.
