This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by ethnoscience worksheets on the critical thinking abilities of science in fifth-grade Elementary School students. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were selected, namely fifth-grade students at Kauman 2 Elementary School as the experimental class and fifth-grade students at Sukosari 1 Elementary School as the control class. Data were analyzed using t-test and N-gain on SPSS 25 for Windows. The results showed: (1) there was a significant difference between students' scores before and after the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by ethnoscience worksheets in studying the water cycle (p=0.000, p<0.05). (2) Learning by applying the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by ethnoscience worksheets is proven to be more effective than applying conventional models assisted by textbooks to improve critical thinking abilities in science (N-gain 0.66). 摘要

本研究基于考曼二小学五年级47%和20%极低类别的低批判性思维能力测试结果。本研究旨在探讨民族科学习题辅助下的问题型学习模式对小学五年级学生科学批判性思维能力的影响。本研究采用准实验方法,采用前测后测非等效对照组设计。研究对象为考曼二小学五年级学生作为实验班,苏萨里一小学五年级学生作为对照班。数据采用SPSS 25软件进行t检验和n增益分析。结果表明:(1)实施民族科学工作表辅助问题学习模式前后学生在水循环学习方面的得分存在显著差异(p=0.000, p<0.05)。(2)应用民族科学工作表辅助下的基于问题的学习模式比应用教科书辅助下的传统学习模式更有效地提高科学批判性思维能力(n增益为0.66)。因此,结果是,在Ponorogo民族科学学生工作表的辅助下,实施基于问题的学习模式有效地影响了小学五年级学生使用水循环材料进行科学批判性思维的能力。
