The population of this study was from the second grade MIPA which consists of 143 students from 4 classes. The samples of this study were class XI MIPA 2 as control group and class XI MIPA 4 as experimental group. The samples were selected by random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were reading pre-test and post-test. The data were collected from observation and reading comprehension tests. The data were analyzed statistically in the form of t-test. To find out the significant improvement, the researchers conducted t-test using Paired Sample t-test, it showed that the sig. (2-tailed) of experiment is 0.00 and control group is 0.02. 0.000 < 0.05 and 0.02 < 0.05. There is a significance difference in the result of students' learning scores between the experiment and control group. The students' ability in reading comprehension in second grade of senior high school in SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo Jepara in comprehending English text is poor, after taught using CBI method, the frequency of post-test increased from poor to very good.Teachers may use the CBI method as an effective and innovative teaching method to improve students' reading skill. 摘要
本研究旨在了解基于内容的教学方法在小学二年级学生阅读教学中的有效性,并了解小学二年级学生的阅读理解能力。本研究的研究对象来自MIPA二年级,共4个班级143名学生。采用随机抽样方法选取样本。本研究使用的工具为阅读前测和阅读后测。数据来自观察和阅读理解测试。数据采用t检验进行统计学分析。为了找出显著的改善,研究者使用配对样本t检验进行t检验,结果表明,实验组的(双尾)sig为0.00,对照组的sig为0.02。0.000 < 0.05, 0.02 < 0.05。实验组学生的学习成绩与对照组有显著性差异。SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo Jepara高中二年级学生的阅读理解能力较差,采用CBI方法教学后,后测频率由差提高到很好。教师可以将CBI方法作为一种有效的、创新的教学方法来提高学生的阅读技能。建议在混合教室中采用CBI方法。
