Taking the function of “Activating Blood and Dissolving Stasis” (ABDS) as an example, a method to construct a functional network is proposed, and the functional network of ABDS is established. The results indicate that this method can not only establish a theoretical basis for explaining the mechanism of Chinese herbal medicine, but also provide new clues for the clinical treatment of complex diseases and drug development.
