本文将讨论拉丁美洲人文领域开放获取出版面临的挑战，并以1958年由Relações巴西国际研究所创办的《巴西国际关系评论》(revsta Brasileira de Internacionais, RBPI)为例进行研究。RBPI是巴西最具影响力的国际关系出版物，也是拉丁美洲人文领域的主要出版物。本文将解释自2007年以来一直开放的RBPI如何适应这种新的学术环境。
