This study comprises of Morphological and Preliminary physio-chemical investigations of the shrub. Organoleptic characteristics such as color, taste, odour, powder microscopy,etc. were studied. The fluorescent behavior of the powdered root part of Calotropis giganteanand Calotropisprocera in different solutions towards ordinary light and ultraviolet light (both long and short wavelengths) were found out.
