Transformation of academic education and university experience in developing entrepreneurship competencies

This study examines the entrepreneurial competencies of students of NJSC 'Toraighyrov University' (ToU). To this end, students’ entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial orientations were measured, according to several socio-demographic data: entrepreneurial experience, gender of student, faculty, year of study, and attitude to educational modules on entrepreneurship. Field studies were carried out from 1 to 20 April 2021. In total, 3166 students completed the entrepreneurial module, and 2429 students took part in the survey.  The object was undergraduate students of 3-4 courses, and graduate students of 1-2 courses, who passed the disciplines of the entrepreneurial module. This article can be used in further research on transforming entrepreneurial education in Kazakhstan due to the globalization and digitalization of the global business environment.
