In the oil and sas industry, the introduction of artificial intelligence methods increases the efficiency and productivity of the technologies used. This delivers better results, making AI tools an important technology for the industry. This article discusses the introduction of artificial intelligence methods for effective planning, prevention of complications and emergencies, determining the properties of the reservoir rock, optimizing drilling and production capacity. With accurate knowledge ofpermeability and porosity, engineers can develop a reservoir plan and effectively manage hydrocarbon recovery. AI-based models use log data and seismic data to predict porosity. The permeability prediction is derived by considering different types of well log data in AI prediction modeling. Artificial intelligence methods, which can be trained by the accumulated database from real experiments, computer simulations and logs from operating fields, have the ability to predict the occurrence of complications and emergencies.
