They validated Learning and Study Strategies Inventory, (LASSI) by analyzing the content of students ’ self-refl ections regarding the perceived learning strategies in an On-line course in research methodology. Through interviews, analyzed with Content-analysis, they found support for the relevance of the themes and categories in LASSI; effortrelated refl ections, goal oriented refl ections and cognitive activities.
