It aims to analyze how the discussion about epistemology takes place in graduate programs in Information Science in Brazil. As results, are presented: the context of postgraduate studies in Information Science in Brazil and the Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertacoes; data on the teaching of epistemology in postgraduate studies in Information Science in Brazil; the main subjects and references in the thesis and dissertations on epistemology in the area.
