In total, Claude has served as editor for nine years, during which time he oversaw the publication of 15 issues of the journal, each devoted to a specific theme in Canadian studies. Reflecting the diversity of Canadian studies research, those thematic issues were wide ranging, presenting the very best articles on a specific topic. To edit a journal is hard work and calls for awide range of personal, academic, and editing skills. In growing the journal over many years, Claude Couture was exemplary in the skills he brought as editor.
