Tackling ragweed: The International Ragweed Society held its 2022 world conference in Budapest

The International Ragweed Society held its current conference in Budapest on September 8-9, 2022. The conference is the highest-level international event in the field. The paper, in connection with the event, gives a brief overview of the beginnings of palynology, which is a relatively new science.
