As new assessment tools become available in identifying elderly patients with cancer at risk for severe treatment-related toxicities, much remains to be learned about how to integrate these tools into our management of elderly patients with cancer. We present a case of a 75- year-old man with RCC who was initially treated with pazopanib and subsequently treated with sunitinib.
