Kecemasan, Efikasi Diri Akademik, Motivasi Belajar: Analisis Jenis Kelamin pada Mahasiswa selama Pandemi Covid-19
In 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic was increasing rapidly, so the government implemented Social Distancing and Activity Restrictions which can result in restrictions on social interaction and changes in learning models that cause anxiety in students. This research aims to analyze the differences and the effect of anxiety levels, levels of academic self-efficacy, and sex-based learning motivation. This research used an explanatory design. Data collection was carried out in Jakarta from June 2021 to November 2021, assisted by online questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with an independent t-test and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SPSS 25.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 features. The results showed that male students experienced lower anxiety than female students. Meanwhile, male and female students did not differ between academic self-efficacy and learning motivation. The results of the SEM test show that learning motivation is influenced by anxiety through academic self-efficacy for both men and women. The study results imply the importance of efforts to increase academic self-efficacy and learning motivation to reduce student anxiety during the Covid-19 pandemic.
