A descriptive qualitative method was used in this study, with the type of library research and reviewing several references and literature to obtain the necessary study data. The results of the study stated that the mosque became the center of the trilogy, an inseparable unit from the madrasa and pondok which became the successful procedure for the good salafus in fostering Islamic tarbiyah for the ummah and the transformation of the Islamic education system in classical times which started from: First, the mosque system as a trilogy center. In the early days of Islam, this mosque system was a place for students who wanted to learn to pray, zakat, fasting from the righteous salafus. The development of the current mosque system has separated the system between Islamic boarding schools and madrasas with the aim of maintaining the existence of a mosque that is calm and solemn. Second, the classic pondok system, a substitute for the mosque system, which is like a halaqoh place for religious knowledge, but at this time it is very difficult to find the classic pondok system because it is influenced by several modern system regulations that require following the currents of modern times. Third, the madrasa system as a substitute for a mosque whose position is equivalent to a pondok, madrasas in the present era have been integrated and integrated by following modern Western educational methods. \nKeywords: Mosque, Boarding Schools, Madrasah, Salafus Shalih. \n \nAbstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tatacara para salafus shalih membina tarbiyah islamiyyah pada zaman klasik terfokus pada pusatnya yaitu masjid. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan jenis penelitian kajian pustaka dan mengkaji beberapa referensi serta literatur untuk memperoleh data kajian yang diperlukan. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa masjid menjadi pusat trilogi satu kesatuan tak terpisahkan dari madrasah dan pondok yang menjadi tatacara sukses para salafus shalih dalam membina tarbiyah islamiyyah pada umat dan transformasi sistem pendidikan Islam di zaman klasik yang bermula dari: Pertama, sistem masjid sebagai pusat trilogi. Pada awal permulaan Islam, sistem masjid ini merupakan tempat para murid yang ingin belajar shalat, zakat, puasa kepada para salafus shalih. Perkembangan sistem masjid saat ini telah memisahkan sistem antara pondok dan madrasah Islam dengan tujuan mempertahankan eksistensi masjid yang bersifat tenang dan khusyuk. Kedua, sistem pondok klasik, pengganti sistem masjid yaitu seperti tempat halaqoh ilmu agama, namun saat ini sangat susah menemukan sistem pondok klasik karena dipengaruhi oleh beberapa peraturan sistem modern yang mengharuskan mengikuti arus zaman modern.
