Namun, masih ada beberapa mahasiswa dengan nilai belum memenuhi batas minimal kelulusan yang ditetapkan oleh dosen pengampu. Hal ini terjadi disebabkan karena lemahnya kemampuan pengetahuan konsep dasar materi prasyarat yaitu Kalkulus Integral dan Diferensial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengidentifikasi secara menyeluruh tentang kemampuan konsep dasar mahasiswa terhadap materi prasyarat yaitu Kalkulus Integral dan Diferensial; (2) mengetahui gambaran kebutuhan media game edukasi sebagai sarana belajar mahasiswa materi Kalkulus Integral dan Diferensial. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, mengidentifikasi hasil jawaban mahasiswa pada saat dilakukan posttest di perkuliahan dan dilanjutkan dengan wawancara. Sedangkan analisis kebutuhan dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket online. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasikan bahwa mahasiswa masih lemah dalam penguasaan konsep dasar Kalkulus Integral dan Diferensial. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan belajar menyatakan bahwa 79 responden menyukai game edukasi sebagai sarana dalam belajar materi Kalkulus Integral dan Diferensial. Abstract Differential Equation Courses have analytical properties, require mathematical reasoning, are characterized by calculations and require a standard and often repetitive method of solving algebra. However, there are still some students with grades that have not met the minimum graduation limit set by the lecturer. This happens because of the weak knowledge ability of the basic concepts of prerequisite material, namely Integral and Differential Calculus. The purpose of this study is (1) to thoroughly identify the ability of students' basic concepts to prerequisite material, namely Integral and Differential Calculus; (2) find out the description of educational game media needs as a learning tool for students of Integral and Differential Calculus material. The research method is qualitative descriptive, identifies the results of student answers at the time of the posttest in the lecture and continues with the interview. While the needs analysis is done by distributing online questionnaires. The results of the study identified that students were still weak in mastering the basic concepts of Integral and Differential Calculus. Based on the learning needs analysis states that 79 respondents liked the educational game as a means of learning the material of Integral and Differential Calculus.
