This prospective study assessed the body mass index (BMI) and the insulin resistance status (HOMA index) in obese patients after bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve, gastric by-pass). Material and Methods: The study included 48 patients who were assessed before the bariatric surgery and at 6 months thereafter. The assessment included the body mass index (BMI) and the HOMA index before meal. Results: There was a significant positive correlation between BMI and HOMA index, mostly between weight loss and improvement in insulin resistance status (rho = 0.308, p = 0.0335). 背景和目的:超重和肥胖个体容易出现胰岛素抵抗状态,本研究通过HOMA指数(“稳态模型评估”)评估。本前瞻性研究评估肥胖患者在减肥手术(胃袖、胃旁路)后的体重指数(BMI)和胰岛素抵抗状态(HOMA指数)。材料和方法:该研究包括48例患者,在减肥手术前和手术后6个月进行评估。评估包括餐前体重指数(BMI)和HOMA指数。结果:BMI与HOMA指数之间存在显著正相关,其中体重减轻与胰岛素抵抗状态改善之间的关系最为显著(rho = 0.308, p = 0.0335)。结论:减肥手术后BMI显著降低,与胰岛素抵抗状态改善呈正相关。
