The concepts of multiliceracies and digital genres are discussed. We adopted theoretical contributions: Kersch, Coscarelli and Cani (2016), Marcuschi and Xavier (2010), Rojo (2013), Rojo and Moura (2012, 2019), among others. The analysis corpus consisted of semi-structured interviews. The results show that teachers positively evaluate the teaching of digital genres as a possibility of expanding their students' literacies and claim that they make use of digital information and communication technologies in the language teaching.
