Beberapa biota laut didaratkan di TPI tersebut salah satunya cumi–cumi. Penelitian cumi–cumi masih jarang dilakukan, seperti penelitian mengenai mikroplastik pada cumi – cumi, dikarenakan cumi–cumi merupakan salah satu biota konsumsi maka perlu diketahui apakah mikroplastik sudah masuk kedalam cumi – cumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui jumlah, bentuk, warna dan ukuran mikroplastik pada tentakel dan pencernaan cumi- cumi dari TPI Tambak Lorok. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Juli–November 2020 di Semarang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di TPI Tambak Lorok. Cumi – cumi yang didapatkan diukur menggunakan jangka sorong. Selanjutnya sampel dibedah menggunakan gunting dipisahkan tentakel dan pencernaannya. Pelarutan bahan organik menggunakan KOH 10% selama 24 jam. Pemisahan partikel mikroplastik menggunakan ZnCl2 selama 24 jam. Pemisahan partikel akan membentuk 2 lapisan yaitu cairan bening dan endapan. Cairan bening diambil 10 ml untuk dilakukan penyaringan menggunakan vacum pump. Hasil vacum pump dikeringkan dilanjutkan pengamatan visual menggunakan mikroskop untuk dihitung jumlah, diamati bentuk, warna dan ukuran mikroplastik. Mikroplastik ditemukan lebih banyak pada pencernaan 343 partikel dan pada tentakel 212 partikel. Bentuk mikroplastik yang ditemukan adalah fiber, film, fragmen dan pelet. Mikroplastik ditemukan 6 warna yaitu hitam, putih, merah, oranye, kuning, biru. Ukuran mikroplastik ditemukan 0,54–100,75 µm. TPI Tambak Lorok is one of the TPI in Semarang. Mikroplastik pada Tentakel dan Pencernaan Cumi – Cumi dari TPI Tambak Lorok
