However, when individuals with HD make decisions about possessions, they show relative </span>hyperactivation of the salience network (and other brain regions), with accompanying indecisiveness, negative affect, exaggerated ERN, increased physiological arousal, and activation of maladaptive beliefs about, and attachment to, possessions.
