In learning activities, there are several problems faced by educators, including sleepy students, chatting in class during learning, a lack of concentration on the explanations conveyed by the teacher, a low feeling of students' curiosity, students who don't dare to argue and are passive in class, and a low achievement of the minimum completeness criteria. With the above problems, educators took the initiative to change learning strategies by applying the active learning method of group discussions. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive-qualitative approach using observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are active learning strategies, including students being able to solve problems, express opinions, respect others, think critically, and want to express their ideas.
