Situación socioambiental en el lago de Cuitzeo, Michoacán (México), desde la responsabilidad social
This research addresses the socio-environmental problems of Michoacan fishermen and maize farmers in Lake Cuitzeo trough the Social Responsibility approach, based on a survey of 419 fishermen and farmers in 25 locations in the region. Farmers and fishermen identify actions that have negative environmental and social impacts, such as the use of agrochemicals, discharge of sewage, litter, use of prohibited networks and exclusion of vulnerable social groups in fisheries and agriculture activities. At the same time, proposals are displayed that contribute to the sustainability of their productive activities and community life from a socially responsible perspective.
