Research design was cross-sectional and descriptive with a sample of 147 adolescents. Results reflected a positive, statistically significant, relationship between sexism and romantic distortions. Boys exhibited higher levels of sexism towards women and romantic love myths, while girls showed higher scores of sexism attitudes towards men. Sexismo y mitos del amor romántico en adolescentes que residen en centros de acogida
