In nNOS KO mice, expression of iNOS was positive in dental pulp and strongly positive in odontoblasts, whereas that of eNOS was stronger in fibroblasts, endothelial cells in the vicinity of blood vessels in the dental pulp, and odontoblasts. Expression of nNOS was negative in the nNOS KO mice.
