TIG welding was utilized for the creation of butt welded joints in the construction of the L9 Taguchi orthogonal array experiment. A visual and X-ray examination of the joints followed the procedure. After the butt-joining, a slew of experiments were run to figure out the material’s specific properties. There has been an evaluation of the weld quality in terms of the specimens’ ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and percentage elongation (PE). Grey-Taguchi methodology was used to interpret, discuss and analyse the collected data.
