These dependences are used as a basis of an express-method of determining the concentration of lead ions in water, the sensitivity of which is shown to be as high as 0.001 mg/L, which is below the maximum permissible concentration. The use of the water-insoluble dye as a material sensitive to lead ions shows the possibility of developing a stable sensor based on the effect under study.
